First day of Preschool

This was the first day of pre-school for Hannah Cate. She was so excited and had been impatiently waiting for the day to arrive. She has little concept of time so she walked around the house day in and day out saying, "Mommy - tomorrow?" And I would answer, "No, Monday baby." We have a new teacher and 15 new friends which is all a bit overwhelming, but the day was a success and she even came home with a new phrase. "Miss Beth says turn your ears on." SO we all spent the afternoon turning our ears on. Why is that such a big deal. Mainly because every new step is a really big deal when you have Down Syndrome like Hannah Cate. And we are proud of her every BIG step. SO turning our ears on opens up a whole new world of understanding for her and for us. We love our big girl and have high expectations of the Lord's manifested love for her. Keep watching it will prove to be a really BIG deal.
